What I Would Do to Get Bathing Suit Ready in 30 Days
There is nothing like swimsuit season to inspire weight loss and I often get asked how to get ready for this time of year. While you can’t create miracles in 30 days you can make noticeable changes to your body in a month’s time. Here are the steps I would take to get bathing suit ready in 30 days.
1. Build my desire. I know your desire is strong just because of your goal to get bathing suit ready in 30 days but you have to really focus in on what this means in order for your desire to stay strong during the month. I would write down exactly how I want to look and feel and then spend 15 minutes each day visualizing this outcome. Without desire you will not act.
2. Keep track of my food intake. I would count my calories and keep them between 1,200 to 1,500 for a woman (1,500 to 2,000 for a man). The amount would depend on my size and activity level. You can calculate the right amount by Googling a “daily calorie needs calculator”. Everything I eat would get written in a food journal.
3. Manipulate my carbohydrates. I would eat carbs such as bread, cereal and whole grains by lunch time and keep them out of my diet after lunch.
4. I would not skip meals. This is especially important when it comes to breakfast. I would eat a minimum of 4 times throughout the day.
5. I would do strength training 3 times a week. This would be with heavier weights and lower reps. Ladies, there is no concern that you will bulk up in 30 days. This type of weight training will keep your fat-burning metabolism high.
6. I would do cardio on the days I was not doing strength training and look for any extra opportunity to stay active by going for walks, playing sports or just doing chores.
7. I would work as hard on keeping a positive attitude as I did on my diet and exercise. When you goal is to feel good in a swim suit you are challenging yourself, a positive mental attitude will be necessary in order for you to meet your goal.
So this is what I would do if I wanted to be bathing suit ready in 30 days. Follow this recommendation and you will be feeling great at the beach or pool this year.

Creature From the Black Lagoon [VHS] $5.35 Jack Arnold’s horror classic The Creature from the Black Lagoon spawned not one but two iconic images: the web-footed humanoid gill-man with a hankering for women and the leggy, luscious Julia Adams, the object of his desire, swimming the lagoon in a luminous white bathing suit. Not since King Kong has the “beauty and the beast” theme been portrayed in such sexually charged (though chaste) terms. … |

Suddenly, Last Summer $4.41 This black-and-white film adaptation of Tennessee Williams’s Southern gothic play is perhaps more famous for the rumored off-screen shenanigans of its stars than for its over-the-top repressed sexuality (only Williams could pull off that paradox, and pull it off he does). Supposedly, stars Katharine Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor battled for screen time; Hepburn warred very publicly with director Jo… |
