How long before all these big Contracts ruin the Sport?
This goes for football and Baseball. How much is too much. These guys do not play for the love of the game anymore!!!

The only people that can afford to see an event up close are very upper middle class and rich people. Any seating above Loge (more than 25 rows up) is pretty much pointless to me. I would rather stay at home and watch a game there. I can eat good food and get to a bathroom anytime I like without any additional concerns.
It is easy to forget this, but Jordan made less than 3 million dollars from the Bulls in his first 4 years. His endorsement deals far exceeded what he made in his NBA contract. What’s more, he did it on purpose and never worried about it.
It wasn’t until the 1996 -98 when he made major contract money. Then again, The Bulls were the team to beat and without Michael THEY WERE NOT the best team in the NBA.
I have the 1993-1994 “Yearbook” for NBA basketball. I remember clearly that “Floor Seats” back then were $500 each. I think they were still in the Forum at the time. I can only imagine what they cost now.
Like Sprewell said, “I have kids to feed”. If he is anything like Shawn Kemp, he has LOTS of kids to feed.
