Just bought Andis dog clippers w/ #10 blade. I want my dogs hair 3/4″ so what’s better a blade or comb/guard?
I dont understand the difference between buying a $50 3/4″ steel blade or buying a $13 set of combs/guards. The clipper is Andis AGC 2 (fits Oster 5 blades & combs) and my dog is a yorkie-bichon groomed with a puppy cut.
Get a set of stainless steel (metal) combs. You can get different sizes so you can find the length you want. Wahl has a set of combs that are metal that work find with the blade you have.
