How do I stop my dog from barking? I’ve tried EVERYTHING!?
He’s a big breed Newfoundland puppy – 6 months old and probably about 80 pounds. He doesn’t respond to much of anything. We’ve tried to spray him with water when he barks – he tries to drink it. The citronella bark collars have no effect on him. We try to ignore him, but he barks at 12 at night and wakes up the house. He’ll run from the newspaper, but still barks! He’s so stubborn! Any ideas anyone? I don’t want to use a shock collar.
My dog was really bad about that for awhile, especially while in the crate. I spray her with a squirt bottle and tell her no and she usually stops now . . .
