Do any of you leave the radio on when you leave your dog alone at home when you go to work?
My friend leaves the radio on for her dog when she goes to work. We have a 2 year old chihuahua mix and he’s confined to our small kitchen when we’re at work. I sometimes feel sorry for him, but it’s the only thing that has worked in terms of preventing him from peeing and pooping on our carpet. Should I turn the radio on for him when I leave?
i ALWAYS leave the radio and a light on in the living room and one in the bedroom for my dog. it helps to keep her from barking at every little noise (like my neighbor coming home) and i think it probably helps her to feel like i’m not really “gone” because i leave it on the radio station that i often listen to when i am home.
