Anyone try the new doggles?
Has anyone tried the K9 Optix sunglasses from the makers of doggles? http://doggles.com/k9optix.html
Do they fit well? I’ve used the originaly doggles for years – love how they fit – HATE how they look.
My dog mostly wears her doggles when we go kayaking and snowboarding. The bright reflection of sunlight off of the water and snow hurts MY eyes, so I always wear sunglasses – and so does my dog.
Her pair is getting awfully beat up and scratched. SO I was looking to find a new pair and I saw the K9 Optix. I’ve always HATED the way doggles looked. Of course if the Optix are more fashionable than functionable I will go with the original doggles. The most important thing to me is that my girl’s eyesight is protected. I find it funny that so many people DON’T have their dog’s wear eye protection – especially when thye are outside a lot.
I have used them on dogs with optical problems like ICs and they work great. Also they are an improvement in looks over the old style Doggles.
