where can i find a music arranging institute or training centre in USA ?
i am working in a fm radio station in Nepal, as a recordist and music arranger too. i make jingles and advertisements, now i am thinking to get further trainings on music arrangement and recording i dont need any academic degree just 2 or 3 years training.
Try University of California at Berkley. They can point you in the right direction. Almost everybody that comes through that school makes it big time. I’m a professional songwriter, and have enjoyed a lot of success over the years, and I would think the first thing you need to do, is loose the attitude. You don’t need a degree? If you get 2-3 years training, and get the paper (degree) that comes with it, you could go a long ways. That’s like saying you want to drink some water, but you don’t need a glass. Maybe I don’t understand what you are trying to say here, but it don’t sound like someone who wants to make it in the industry. You may not think you need it, but what does everybody else think?
