What are these small black bugs that are larger than a flea on my kitten?
I just rescued a kitten from the flea market. He is very tiny and have small black bugs all over him. They are bigger than fleas. They are black and have a little red on them. Any ideas on what they are and how I can get rid of them? Flea shampoo did not kill them.
You should take your kitten to the vet. They may be ticks.
