Have you heard of these detterrent mats?
I am looking for a solution for my large breed (she’s an American Bulldog about 75-80lbs) dog’s need to be obnoxious.She is constantly barking and growling and putting on a show for squirrels and birds(sometimes people and other dogs) outside my patio doors .
I don’t mind her looking out of the windows in the patio doors. What bothers me is when she throws her self onto them and into a standing postion.
I was looking into purchasing a “scat mat” or “sofa scram” to put in front of the door to keep her from sitting or standing directly in front of or onto the window.
I also considered the motion sensor that makes some sound to stop her, but I really don’t want to be bothered with some constant high pitched wahling. Any ideas? Or have you used either?
Clear carpet runner/protector. It has bumps on the bottom. Place it bump side up where you don’t want her to sit or stand. You may have to tape it down to keep her from just grabbing it to move it.
I’ve used it in the kitchen to keep a counter surfer from being able to get close enough to the counters as well as using them around garbage cans (as needed).
