Anyone Else Have An Australian Shepherd?
I have a 5 Year Old Aussie and it’s no secret that these Dogs shed SO MUCH! Currently, I am using a brush called The Rake and my Aussie does not like it at all. I am always amazed how much hair comes out that it makes me wonder if this particular grooming tool is even good to be using on him. Can anyone recommend another brush or comb that would be great for an Aussie? Lots of Love to all you Aussie owners out there……I absolutely adore these Dogs!

I don’t know where you live, but if you have a Petsmart in town, they have a great grooming called Furminator. It takes out all the down undercoat. I have this done to my aussie mix about four times a year, and my vacuum loves me for it.
My aussie also does not like to be combed-she squirms and objects, so i leave it to the groomers.
